Hi, I’m Kendall! Thank you so much for being here—

When I was in middle-school, I was gifted a lime green digital point-and-shoot camera. My best friend and I would play “models” in the backyard—styling odd combinations from the costume bin and shooting portraits in our backyard in Ohio. I quickly realized I was much more comfortable behind the camera, playing “photographer,” instead of “model.” The rest, they say, is history.

While I may have since upgraded from that lime green camera, and my eye has certainly matured, I’ve never lost that passion for storytelling. Photographs have a unique ability to move people that I find inherently beautiful. Weddings in particular hold a special place in my heart. It is the greatest joy to be able to document one of the most important days of a couple’s life—and not a job I take lightly!

My documentary-style approach to shooting is to be a “fly on the wall,” capturing your most intimate moments, exactly as you live them. I’m here for the in-between moments. The look on your dad’s eyes as you walk down the aisle, the stolen kisses during the reception, when you think no one is looking. To me, there is beauty in simplicity and in our most natural selves. Bring on the messy hair, the bare feet, the ugly tears, and the moments that move us most—that’s the good stuff.
